About

My mission is to help women feel stronger, safer, and more confident in their everyday lives.

My Story

In 2022, I was the victim of an assault. It happened unexpectedly in broad daylight while I was walking to my local Tesco. Like many people, I never believed something like that could happen to me — until it did.

The experience stayed with me for a long time and it deeply affected my confidence. For a while, the moment replayed in my mind over and over again. Thankfully, I had incredible support from my martial arts community, who helped me rebuild my confidence and strength.

Through training and support, I was able not only to regain my confidence, but to grow stronger than before.

That experience became a turning point for me. I became determined to help other women develop the confidence, awareness, and practical skills needed to protect themselves.

Since then, I have begun assisting with and running community personal safety events, helping women feel more empowered, confident, and capable in their everyday lives.

My Goal

Today, my goal through Williams Personal Safety is to help women feel stronger, more confident, and better prepared to protect themselves. Through supportive coaching, practical self-defence training, and community events, I aim to create a safe and empowering environment where women can build both the skills and confidence to navigate the world with greater awareness and strength.

My Martial Arts Background

I have been training in martial arts for over five years, gaining experience across several different styles. My journey began with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, before moving into Jeet Kune Do, which has become a central part of my training and development.

In 2024, I began training in Shotokan Karate, where I progressed quickly and developed a strong passion for the discipline.

Alongside this, I also explored MMA training to broaden my skill set and understanding of different martial arts systems.

In 2023, I started assisting in children’s martial arts classes. Within six months, I became a martial arts instructor, teaching classes for children aged 3–6. In 2025, I was promoted to Programme Manager for the 3–6 year old programme, while also teaching additional classes throughout the week.

Martial arts has become a huge part of my life, and I continue to challenge myself through training and competition. I regularly compete in karate competitions and grappling events, which allows me to keep developing both as a martial artist and as an instructor.

Helping women feel stronger, safer, and more confident through practical personal safety training.
